Sophio’s High School Diploma course is recognized and accepted by top universities and colleges worldwide, setting you up for a brighter future at any number of internationally recognized tertiary institutions.
Applications to Canadian universities are open to Canadians as well as to foreign students who can apply for a Canadian study permit.
University Applications
As Sophio is registered as an Ontario-based learning institution, our graduates need to submit university applications through the Ontario University Application Center (OUAC), who are responsible for processing University applications of all Ontario graduates.
Deadlines for applications vary depending on your age, graduation status and choice of degree course, but the table below outlines the current date info available on the OUAC website.
Date | Description |
January 16 2019 | 2019 session deadline for submitting applications to the OUAC |
January 24 2019 | Date for receiving all applicant data by universities from OUAC |
July 11 2019 | Target date for the OUAC to send all remaining final grades to the universities. The OUAC will attempt to contact all schools that have not provided their grades. |
College Applications
Sophio students and graduates wishing to apply to college need to submit their application through the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS) who are responsible for processing applications to all public colleges in Ontario.
Unlike universities, college applications are not subject to strict submission deadlines, and therefore generally consider all applications received before a certain date together, and after that date on a first-come, first-served basis.
Application dates and details can be found under the tab ‘When to Apply’ on the OCAS website.
