Kelda Cloutier
Kelda Cloutier, BSc, MST, trained in physics and math at the University of Toronto, graduating to manage the day to day operations of a satellite launching company in Toronto. Notably, the director of that company was a propulsion engineer on the famous Apollo 11 space flight. Ms. Cloutier spent the next eight years as Professor of Electronics at George Brown College in Toronto. Since completing her Master’s of Science studies at the State University of New York, she has been teaching physics and math at the secondary level. A few photonic engineering projects sprinkled throughout the years bring her industrial and academic physics total to 27 years of experience.
In 2013 Ms. Cloutier authored her first science fiction novel, The Whole Story, and went on a worldwide book tour with stops in 5 countries. Her book is a twisty turn-y time travel thriller for all ages. The novel was a rare publishing success story, particularly in Japan. We are crossing our fingers for the screen adaptation!
Today Ms. Cloutier continues to use her talents to help students learn physics and math with the same tireless enthusiasm for which she originally became known.
